HOMEMADE BOXWOOD WREATH

July 17, 2019

Hello, Everyone!

Just a quick post today to show you all how I made my own boxwood wreath.
I have been wanting to make one for a while now and it turned out to be a very easy and inexpensive project.

I used boxwood tips from my own garden. I don't know how long they will stay green, but I am hoping the wreath will last at least a few weeks. I read somewhere that you can soak them in a mixture of glycerine and dye for about three weeks and by doing so, they will never loose their color.

Remember the terracotta pot I painted a couple of weeks ago? You can see that post here.

Here is how I used them together.

I used a 10 inch foam ring, a foam cube from Dollar Tree, floral wire, hot glue and boxwood tips.

I secured and connected the wreath with a stick to hold the weight.

And now I am using it as part of my new Summer mantle decor which I will share with you
as soon as I can put the post together.

Thank you for taking the time to visit!

See you soon!
